Anthropologist and educator. Camilla Wedgwood studied anthropology at Newnham College, Cambridge between 1920-1924. She undertook fieldwork from 1932-1934, studying the lives of women and children on Manam, and in 1935 studied the revival of native arts and crafts on Nauru. She was appointed Principal of the Women's College within the University of Sydney from 1935-1944.
